Hi there, my name is Lyn and I set up The Oddment. It is a small online business, selling original quality products. Some the merchandise is completely handmade, while others are designed by me and I source reputable manufacturers to produce the products.
Flora Broom
Flora Broom is a part of the store where hope to sell some art work, in greeting cards and 1000 piece puzzles.
Greeting Card
All the images are printed on A5 sized handmade cotton paper, recycled from factory rags. I print them at home with a pigment based ink. and the are accompanied by a Kraft envelope, in a butterfly pattern.
While I am sure most people will want to forget the Covid pandemic, I thought it important to commemorate it in someway, as it changed so any lives.

Jigsaw Puzzles
It started with five designs and now there are ten.
Two are based on leaves., I am fascinated by leaves, the way they dance on a branch in the breeze and the magical colours they produce as light bounces off them.
Two are based our lives, tour memories and the way we deal with them.
Bottom of a bottle came to fruition when I became fascinated with how the liquid of a drained bottle clung to the grooves, creating a kaleidoscope of shapes, when you looked at it through the nozzle.
Cuben-Coils
The Cuben-Coil army are made from whatever wood is available at the local shop and sawn and sanded to give it their individual shape, before being hand painted to show off their personality and finally coated in lashings of sealer, to protect them from inclement weather.
They are a unique and colourful army who enjoy nothing more than being outdoors smoking and watching mozzies expire.
Simply break off a piece of coil and place it into the metal slot. This gives you more control over the amount of coils to burn and removes the need for the whole thing to sag in humid weather.
